The name Hero Plumbing brings great imagery and ex-pectations with it. I wanted to show a superhero type em-blem for their logo.

This is the original design for their logo.

Logo

These are variations for their logo. If Hero Plumbing only wanted a one color print then they could do this black and white logo.

This logo is for a full color print.

Here is another way Hero Plumbing can line up their logo. With the type being so large people would be able to see the name of the company more read-ily. This version of the logo would work great on billboards, company vehicles, and store fronts.

These receipts show how the different versions of the logo can be used by Hero Plumbing.

This variation would work the best to put on top of darker colors. The logo would then stand out really well.

To make the logo stand out on lighter colors use this logo. Also this logo works when a printer only has the color black.

This grey is an alternate variation of the logo. This could be used in watermarks or on other devices in the store.

The logo here would be Hero Plumbing’s main logo. The blue is symbolic of water in pipes, as well as being fairly symbolic of a superhero’s colors.

Here we have some basic Hero Plumbing business cards. They are great examples of the logo in various colors.

Calibri

CandaraFonts

Calibri is the font used for the text with the logo. The font is clean and legible.

Candara will be used only for printing numbers, i.e. aisle markers. The font is unique and interesting.

Gill Sans MTGill Sans MT is going to be used for all major text, i.e. magazine ads, memos, and business letters.

MEMOTO : Employees

Employees are to take a 15 minute break before and after lunch if employees are working a full shift.

Here is an ex-ample of aisle markers. They use the Canda-ra font for the numbers. Gill Sans MT would be used for the items listed on the markers.

Slogan

The slogan portrays additional information about the company. I wanted the slogan to sound like it could ap-ply to a hero. When a pipe breaks you need a reliable plumber there fast to get the job done. The slogan im-plies these things, and that is why I chose this slogan.

Hero Plumbing already has vehicles but they needed to be redesigned to show their new look. These two truck designs focus on the mark, and keeping the logo clean and legible.

The slogan can be added to many items, trucks in-cluded.

These vehicle de-signs are to empha-size the logo. The designs are unique because they do not look like standard company trucks. Due to this fact people will notice and remember them.

Sound and Animation

When Hero Plumbing makes radio or television commercials, along with their web page they will have a sound signature accompanying their logo. The sound clip will be of water dripping. The clip is about 3 seconds long, and has three distinct water droplets hitting a pool of water.

This sound clip will be played at the end of the com-mercials at the same time as the logo is being dis-played. On the radio it will be played right before the company’s name is read.

The Hero Plumbing logo when use on television and the inter-net shouldn’t just sit there; it needs to bring more attention to itself by being animated.

The animation will play along with the sound clip. It will start off with a blank screen and at the sound of the first water droplet it will start to fill the logo up with water. The water in the logo will move as it is being filled. Once the logo is full then the name Hero Plumbing will slowly darken and become black.

The slogan will grow downward away from the logo at the same time the words Hero Plumbing are darkening. The to-tal animation time should be about 5.5 seconds. Three and a half seconds to fill the logo with water and 2 seconds for the words to darken and grow.
