LAND NORTH OF LUTON

Last October at the Labour Party conference and again repeated at a visit to Stevenage this year, Ed Miliband

revealed plans to extend towns into countryside and confiscate land back from building companies not

constructing new homes. Miliband will force rural councils to build large estates in the Green Belt and aim to

stop them throttling towns growing.

If Labour win the General Election Stalinist diktats will ignore and dissent and fast track these huge estates.

LUTON LOCAL PLAN

Luton faces major growth pressures over the coming years— The population is expected to grow 40,300 over

the next 20 years or by 17,800 households.mostly social housing. However work on the draft local plan shows

that the town will ony be able to accommodate 6,000 dewellings (although a few years ago a planning

inspector from Bristol estimated the number of dwellings that could be built at around 10,000)

Based on Luton Local Plan that means 11,800 homes would have to be built in the rural areas outside Luton.

We know where Labour run Luton Council want to expand.

LAND NORTH OF LUTON The Bramingham Team are totally opposed to Developing land to the north of Luton for housing. Derelict factory sites could provide over 10.000 homes in Luton. Some of these sites have been neglected for over 10 years.

should contribute more through taxes’ (Harriet Harman, LBC Radio, 14/07/14).

Then, Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary promised to ‘embrace’a 15% death tax which would cost the average taxpayer

And now a senior Labour figure is calling for the Party to extend their planned tax on the family home to properties worth

£400.00 in the North of England—hitting an estimated 210,000 more families Sunday Express, 10/08/14.
