About 18kt Gold Vermeil -Gold vermeil is sterling silver coated with 18kt gold at 2.5 microns thick. Gold vermeil requires some extra care to keep it looking its best. Remove all jewelry when applying makeup or lotions. Never wear your gold vermeil jewelry in the shower or pool. To clean we recommend gentle dish soap with a soft brush. Buff gently with a 100% cotton cloth or microfiber cloth. Do not use treated polishing cloths or jewelry cleaners and avoid rubbing the jewelry as this will remove the vermeil. If you treat your jewelry with care and store properly your vermeil pieces will last a long time.
