The Fraud Prevention Seminar was held earlier this month. The nominating committee for LOBR is working on the slate of officers/directors for 2018. The meeting was called to order by Vice President Bill Johnson at 9:01 am.A Motion was made, seconded and passed to accept the minutes of the last meeting as emailed.

Committee Reports:MLS Committee:A Motion was made, seconded and passed to add the following MLS Rule or Policy: Auction properties may beincluded in the MLS service if the listing broker has a valid exclusive right to sell or an exclusive agency listing, thefull gross listing price is stated on the listing contract, compensation is offered and the property is available forshowing. If a listed property is to be auctioned at a specific date, that information must be included in the privateremarks section of the listing. Factors effecting the compensation offered must also be clearly stated in the privateremarks section of the listing. The status of the listing must be changed to “Withdrawn” as soon as cooperationand/or compensation are no longer offered.

The small utilization of Rate Plug by members was discussed.

A discussion of the LOZ MLS App, now available to members took place.

A discussion occurred regarding the Matrix Task force planning to consider Handicap and Wheelchair modifiedfields/indicators. It was recommended that legal advice may be necessary regarding these considerations.

A Motion was made, seconded and passed approving proposed Matrix 5 year contract but to negotiate “1-Click” to beincluded as a perk, if we agree to the 5 year contract.

New Offices and New Members:A Motion was made, seconded and passed approving the new offices:3D Realty (reinstated), Todd Appraisal, Inc., Buy and Sell at the Lake, and Exit All American Realty

It was approved by BOD that weproceed and send it to the MLS committee for their discussion and approval.

A Motion was made, seconded and passed approving the following members to the Nominating Committee: KathyHagan, Bill Johnson, Ann Davidson, Phyllis Flinn, Ellen Tietmeyer, Beth Riggins

A Motion was made, seconded and passed approving the purchase of a full page ad for the Shootout open house dayin the Shootout Program Guide.

Mission Statement: Lake of the Ozarks Board of REALTORS® (LOBR) will enable membersto be successful in the real estate industry by providing professional, ethical and community-minded services and by being a leading advocate for private property rights.

Advocacy: Be seen by the public, media, and elected officials as the leading advocate for

private property rights and real property ownership.o Distribute On Common Ground Magazine to elected officials.o Encourage member participation on government committees and ad hoc

groups and attend open government meetings.o Support Realtor Party champions with financial and grassroots resources.

Strive for 100% participation on NAR and State calls for action and RPACinvestment among membership.
