Birds, Bees, and ButterfliesThe Super Powers of Spring!
Science: We’ll look at cocoons and beehives and birds’ nests. What are they made from? How long do they last? Through observation and experimentation, we’ll explore these amazing structures.
Arts & Crafts: We’ll make butterfly mobiles to flutter in the wind and bird feeders to keep our feathered friends happy.
Cooking: Honey! It’s sticky, sweet, and golden. Let’s taste some different kinds and try a nibble of honeycomb. Then maybe we’ll bake a honey cake!
Story Reading: We’ll find all about our busy, flying friends by reading, Are You a Bee? by Judy Allen, There’s a Bird on Your Head by Mo Willems, and My-Oh-My, a Butterfly! by Tish Rabe.
Individual hours for extended days can be purchased. Ask for rates.
