LGI-USA: An Outpouring of the Holy Spirit

We live in historic times as we witness the restoration of the apostles and prophets to the church. Today, we realize that this ministry is gaining greater acceptance in the Christian circle especially with the recent calamity we experienced. People are turning to the church for prophetic revelations from God. The revival fire of the Holy Spirit is already burning. We live in a very exciting prophetic season in our life as a nation!

However, there is a dearth of

seasoned apostolic-prophetic leaders who can bring the supernatural power of God to bear in the lives of nations, cities, churches, and people. LGI is responding to the Holy Spirit’s call to bring gifted and anointed people to come to a whole new level of maturity, accuracy, and power. The Holy Spirit birthed in the heart of LGI to form “FIREWATCH” where people are sensitized to hear God’s voice and will be empowered to speak God’s word with accuracy.

FIREWATCH is held every last

Friday of each month from 6:30 – 9:30 PM and led by Rev. Bernadette A. Morales and Rev. Criscelyn C. Navarro. Participants of this prophetic training program are: Ptr. Dave Sablan, Ester Lee Paragas. Joy Herradura, Dr. Liza Dupingay, Ptr. Mario Malibunas, Wenn Malibunas, Rose Regalia, Frieda Faeldog, Mabel Apostol, Aaron Dait, Laarni de Belen, Ptr. Simply awesome and amazing! We thank the Holy Spirit’s mighty outpouring in our LGI – USA 2014 activities in San Diego, New Jersey, Chicago, San Francisco and Long Beach. Through the generous donation of Ms. Wendy Vaughn, a long time LGI supporter, Pastor Mina and Pastor Bernie ministered in the US from March 9 to April 22, 2014. We praise God for the following highlights:

§ Critical Care Training Center in San Diego facilitated the certification of our LGI modules on “Spiritual Care for Nurses” and “Starting Over” produced by Pastor Bernie. These modules now enjoy a certification status that is valid in the entire United States.

§ Four “Starting Over” seminars were conducted by Pastor Bernie in 4 states with our respective local coordinators: San Diego (Wendy Vaughn); Chicago (Jinky Bastes-Burns); Maryland (Regina Domingo); and San Francisco (Cely Mher).

§ A Communion Sunday Service and lectures were conducted by Pastor Mina in Longbeach, California among her relatives. Her aunt, Ms. Emma Macaraeg, is our local coordinator in the area.

§ Eleven Bible studies and prayer and healing services were conducted by Pastor Bernie in the homes / workplace of: BJ & Wendy Vaughn; Rudy & Rosemarie Virata; Grace Amistoso; Eric & Jeanette Arendain; Cris & Ritzel dela Pena; Patrick & Hazel Konrad; Marc & Jinky Burns; John & Cely Mher; Gemma Mateo; Jeanlette de Guzman and Vivien Chantanop.

§ Cosmopolitan Church United Chicago through their Senior Pastor, Rev. Hong and Jinky Burns made an initial donation of $400.00 for our Starting Over Seminar for the Tacloban Yolanda victims.

§ Pastor Mina and Pastor Bernie preached during the Sunday Worship of Shepherd’s Pasture Assembly and Calvary Presbyterian Church, respectively.

§ The trip also allowed us to establish ministry friends and partners: Rev. Dr. Noel Monzon, Pastor of Shepherd’s Pasture Assembly; Rev. Emmanuel Orendain, Pastor of Calvary Presbyterian Church; Rev. Reynaldo & Estela Desenganio of Fremont Presbyterian Church, San Francisco; Pastor Rodrigo Quema, Pastor of New Hope Nazarene Church; Rev. Times of Refreshing in Israel – LGI Batch 4 Thank you Holy Spirit for times of refreshing! We

praise God for the 16 participants of the LGI Israel Worship and Study Tour from May 5 to 12, 2014 for a time of worship and celebration of God's presence! The spirit of excitement was so evident for the 9 first-timers and the 7 who have returned to Israel. Coming from different churches, all were united in the name of Jesus, carrying the LGI commitment of advancing the Jesus Agenda so that the world will know that Jesus Christ is Lord!

Managing Director, Rev. Bernie Morales and LGI Board of Advisory Member, Pastor Art Calaguas, LGI-Israel 2014 had brought revival, spiritual strengthening and a deeper love for Israel among the participants. The LGI banner was brought to the cities of Tel Aviv,

Tibereas and Jerusalem where worship and prayer activities were held to mark visits to historical places and sacred biblical sites that continue to bear witness to the glory of God’s presence and His faithfulness to Israel, and those who continue to stand with God’s chosen nation in prayer. We are truly blessed that at LGI, we continue to honor the Jewish roots of our Christian faith, and we actively help our members deepen their understanding of God’s love and purpose for His beloved people.

Another LGI product was recently launched. iCARE is designed for workplace settings. We praise God that we were able to hold our first iCARE. The forty (40) participants were students and health care practitioners from the Green Life Center for Alternative Medicine owned by Dr. Art Dulce. Under its Organizational Values Program (OVP), LGI will be conducting the iCare module to help promote understanding and appreciation of the total person, self-identity and role as a giver of care. - BAM

The LGI Teachers Empowerment Program was launched in February 2014. LGI, being a Holy Spirit Institute, envisions to raise a pool of kingdom-instructors who will pursue the ministry of teaching according to LGI’s prophetic distinctives.

The Lord has indeed anointed the Starting Over seminar. After five batches of the Starting Over seminar, it has given birth to the Starting Over Couples and Youth edition and held last March 29 and April 26, respectively.

and Cookie Puno were facilitators of the Starting Over for Couples. Pastor Cris Navarro empowered the youth to start on the journey of transformation. Praise God for the many lives that were touched!

The Holy Spirit rained down in this year’s Prophetic Kids Summit held at King’s Court Building in Makati last April 12.

Thirty-five children, along with parents

and guardians, experienced the Holy Spirit’s power, especially when the children prayed for healing. One child who has diabetes noticed that her dizziness was gone after the rest of the kids prayed for her. Two other children felt their cough and colds go away. A mother also felt the healing touch of the Lord as she stood in the gap for her husband and baby.

The children were prayed for to receive visions regarding their glorious destiny. One saw blueprints and the word “engineer”. Another saw a stairway to heaven. Others felt the Lord comfort and assure them that He was with them.

LGI Update

This year’s Holy Week Devotional material sold 541 copies reaching as far as Bohol, Negros Oriental, Midsayap and South Cotabato. In the 6th International Christian Nurses Congress in Bohol alone, we were able to sell 70 copies. The devotional entitled “Suffering and Glory,” assures people of the certainty of God’s glory amidst momentary sufferings.

May 24, LGI 8th Graduation A total of fifty-six (56) students will be

graduating from four LGI courses under the newly established Holy Spirit Institute. Rev. David S. Sablan, Administrative Pastor of Puno United Methodist Church, will grace the occasion as guest speaker. The ceremonies will be held on May 24, 2014, 9AM – 12NN, at the Team Ministries International, 30 Kamuning Road, QC. June 21, Starting Over for Men Men go through seasonal changes in their lives too – mid-life crisis, empty nest, a new job etc., – this seminar workshop will empower them to start over.
