2014 is a powerful year of "Double
Portion." The number "7" means
"Perfection." The number "14" means
"Double Perfection"…a Double Portion!
Our First Fruits offerings this year,
which was so generously given in faith
by God’s people through our
WindWatch services at the end of
January, is the "Activation" of the
double portion!
When we apply the Principle of
First Fruits – First Things First – in
our lives, we begin to see that all firsts
should be given to the Lord. To be in
alignment with what God has for us, we
must start the year off as instructed- by
obeying God's Holy Principle! God's
Word clearly promises: Isaiah 61:7,
"Instead of your shame you will receive
a double portion, and instead of
disgrace you will rejoice in your
inheritance. And so you will inherit a
double portion in your land, and
everlasting joy will be yours." What anexciting year for us all!
Thank you Holy Spirit, for releasing a precious dream in the heart of LGI! The
LGI DREAM, a 5-Year Building Project, will see the rising of a four-storey facility
that will serve as LGI's premiere leadership development and education center. A
300 sqm. strategic lot in a semi-commercial area in Kamias, Quezon City is being
considered as an ideal site. LGI INITIALLY needs Php 7 MILLION to acquire the
land by July 2014 to begin the project. By 2018, this building, complete with
modern facilities, will play an integral part in our mission to train leaders who will
transform nations.
LGI is very grateful to Ret. Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno for accepting the
assignment as Honorary Chair of “The LGI Dream: A Building Project.” The
Committee Members are: Pastor Art Calaguas, Pastor Sonny Navarro, Ms. Nena
Benigno, and Ms. Mabel Apostol. We thank God for their faith and commitment to
help LGI put up a building that will be a center of transformation.
The Holy Spirit has indeed been poured upon God's people; and because of this,
we can truly dream God's dreams. How exciting our times are! Let's dream with
God and let's make it happen!
We rejoice in the Lord for the glorious
seven years of the Wind Watch Prophetic
Prayer and Healing Service. Over 150
people took part in the glorious worship
celebration. It commemorated a ministry
that has already given birth to other
satellite prophetic prayer services in
Makati, Quezon City, Pampanga and
Midsayap.
Honoring this year’s celebration is
guest preacher, Chief Justice Reynato S.
Puno (Ret.). He gave a stirring message
on the need to uphold the pure gospel ofJesus Christ in the face of increasing
humanism and new-age philosophies.
He is a proud alumna of LGI’s One Year
Integrated Bible Curriculum course and
WindWatch prayer leader at the Puno
United Methodist Church. He is also
the distinguished Chair of the LGI
Dream Building Project Committee
which was launched at the end of 2013.
As we look forward to our 8th year,
may we be ever-eager to receive from
the Holy Spirit especially as we look
forward to the WindWatch teaching
themes for 2014: “Possessing the
Future”; “Using our Authority in Jesus’
Name”; “Rising Up in Power” and
“Receiving Double Anointing.” Other
members of the Committee who wereconsecrated during the service were
Pastor Art Calaguas; Ms. Mabel
Apostol and Pastor Sonny Navarro.

1 LGI shares the gospel
through the “Happy
Feet Program”
LGI intensifies its evangelism
efforts as a concrete response to the
wave of calamities that have hit the
nation in recent months. Project
Happy Feet was launched in
December 2013. It is based onRomans 10: 15, “How beautiful are
the feet of the messengers who bring
the good news…” It was designed to
help people share the gospel using a
user-friendly evangelistic tract.
What a mighty outpouring it was! We praise God for the 103 participants of
the 8th LGI Prophetic Leadership Summit held on January 17-18 at the Center
for Community Transformation Retreat Center in Tagaytay. Participants from
various churches came from as far as Baguio, Pampanga and Midsayap, Mindanao
and even from the United States! It was truly a Spirit-filled event marked with
powerful and life-changing teachings on the themes. Rev. Dr. Mina Navarro-
Palomo emphasized that a mind possessed and activated by the mind of Christ
uncovers the deep secrets of God; Rev. Dave Sablan focused on unleashing the
power of healing and allowing the Holy Spirit to mightily fill in all our
deficiencies; Rev. Abe Ng Singco revealed that the only way to break the spirit of
poverty is to learn to sow our material resources in the kingdom of God; Rev.
Bernadette Amistoso-Morales shared that taking hold of God’s favor is all about
being hungry for God’s prophetic revelations and aligning with God’s will in faith
and humble obedience; and Rev. Criscelyn C. Navarro expressed that our spiritual
gifts are ignited with intimacy, intelligence, intensity, integrity and influence that
comes from the Holy Spirit.
A very thick spirit of worship and prayer marked this year’s PLS.
Participants experienced the healing presence of the Lord; received prophetic
prayers for life-directions; ministered to one another in love; and received the
fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit. A very special feature in this year’s PLS was the
Dawn Worship. Participants were reminded that the greatest work of the Holy
Spirit is to bring people to a genuine understanding of the Lordship of Jesus
Christ. A mighty spirit of intercession filled the session hall as people expressed
their gratitude to Jesus for the precious gift of salvation. They were also moved
by the Spirit to cry out to the Lord for the salvation of loved ones and friends.

we are all excited!
