EXPERIENCE:

1. Worked as House Officer in the Department of Medicine, Jawahar Lal

Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh for a period

of one year from 22.01.1973 to 21.01.1974. As House Officer, the duties

assigned were to look after the patients in out patient department, Indoor

Medical Wards, Tuberculosis/Chest Outdoor, Skin and Venerial Diseases

Out-door, and also worked as Assistant Casualty Medical Officer for two

months at the same Hospital.

2. Worked as Clinical Registrar in the Department of Medicine, J.N.

Medical College, A.M.U. Aligarh, for a period of three years from

22.01.1974 to 21.01.1977. Duties assigned were teaching of

Undergraduate Students in addition to Clinical work and attending

Medical Emergency Calls.

3. Worked as Assistant Research Officer (Medicine), Clinical Screening

Unit (Allopathy), A.K. Tibbiya College, A.M.U., Aligarh from

05.02.1977 to 06.08.1979. This was a Gazetted post of Central

Government Sponsored by the Central Council for Research in Indian

Medicine and Homeopathy, New Delhi under the Ministry of Health &

Family Welfare, Govt. of India.

4. Worked as Research Officer (Medicine) under the above unit from

07.08.1979 to 10.03.1980. Duties assigned were Clinical and Research.

5. Worked as Consulting Physician in the biggest Hospital of Central

Province of Iran under the Ministry of Health and Medical Education,

Iran, from 11.03. 1980 to 19.02.1987. Duties assigned were to look after

in-door patients, attending out-door, Coronary Care Unit (C.C.U),

performing two dimensional Echo Cardiography, Haemodialysis and

attending Medical Emergency Calls. Attained significant experience in

treating the patients due to Weapons of mass destruction, WMD

(Nitrogen Mustard Gas and cyanide gas) during 8 years of Iraq - Iran war

from Sept. 1980 to Feb. 1987.

1. A mistake was pointed out in the world renounced text book of Medicine

named „Harrisen‟s Principles of Internal Medicine which was appreciated

with the remark for its rectification in the subsequent reprints by the

Editor and Cardiologist of International Fame Dr. Eugene Braunwald

M.D.

2. Interest was shown after going through the paper published in Hamdard

Medicus – Pakistan regarding the effect of Unani Anti-Hypertensives, by

the editors of International Journal of Environmental Studies, U.K.,

U.S.A., France, Sweden and Medico. They also requested for the supply

of the drug.

3. A mistake was pointed out in Hutchinson‟s Clinical Method which was

appreciated by the Editor Michael Swash for its ractification.

4. Received appreciation for the paper entitled “A Study of Serum Lipids in
