The groups dis- cussed the topics in relation to programs C.A.P. and Red Bird Mission operate--elderly care, youth, pre-natal and post natal. emergency assistance, small term, home repair, spouse abuse, medi- cal clinic, and handicapped. The group then reconvened to sum- marize the discussions. "The workshop was very 'productive." Blackwell said. "We accomplished what I envisioned. We had a chance to get acquain- ted. We arrived at some specifics. And we expressed some common needs." Five goals were established at the workshop: (1) to develop an intern program for seniors in health science at EKU with C.A.P. and Red Bird Mission: (2) to provide consultative services to C.A.P.- and Red Bird workers when difficult problems arise in the field: (3) to develop a program of education so Eastern Kentuc- kians can improve their health through preventive measures: (4) Rockets are not a 20th century ir vention.
