SITE ANALYSIS//
The site has an area of 9.5 acres with scenic views and costal panoramas towards southern aspect. The area is exceptionally rural and the proposed form mimics traditional farm cottages in the neighbourhood.

The site has generous lines of vision to the main road feeding the site.
The southern aspect lowers window cill levels, accommodates glazing and patio areas and therefore enhancing the dwelling functions to the costal surrounds.TRADITIONAL FORMS//
The dwelling is designed to attend the emphases of the domestic activity towards the southern and costal views. The mass of the dwelling is broken into 4 interconnected traditional forms, reducing the scale and accommodating traditional sighting.
Towards the southern aspect lowers window cill levels, accommodating glazing and patio areas and therefore enhancing the dwelling functions to the costal surrounds.
