Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the old mills on the river Ljuta once used to grind corn and produce flour as well as for fine processing of cloths. Enjoy demonstration as well as a welcome drink and snack. Once an ancient Roman town, nowadays Cavtat is one of the most beautiful small towns along the Adriatic coast. your own discovering this charming town. Finally before ending this eventful day we will make a stop at the mountain viewpoint which offers a spectacular view upon the whole area including the surrounding islands.

Koločep, Lopud and Šipan are commonly known as the Elaphiti Islands. The old legend of the islands is hidden in its name about the old Greeks hunting for deer and subsequently naming the islands the Deer islands. Green islands, with gardens full of oranges and lemons and lovely seashore landscapes, charming and picturesque villages with harmonious architecture of summer manors; old seaman´s houses and little votive churches. The historical Galleon is certainly the best stage for such scenery. During this cruise you will see the three most beautiful islands of the Dubrovnik archipelago.

Korčula

Other explorers before him had changed the geography of the world – Marco Polo changed its history! ...and Korčula is his hometown! The island of Korčula indisputable holds a privileged position among the Croatian islands. Here we find more legends, tales and monuments than anywhere else. Being famous stonemasons, shipbuilders and seafarers the people of Korčula left their marks all over the world, but they saved their best works for their own city. Experience the narrow streets, beautiful churches and magnificent palaces in one of the best preserved Medieval towns in the Mediterranean.

After sightseeing free time for lunch or even swimming. On the return trip a stop will be made in one of the well known wine cellars of the Pelješac peninsula to sample some of the excellent local wine.

apparitions this simple village parish has become a place of gathering for a multitude of pilgrims from the whole world and one of the biggest prayer centres in the world. Numerous witnesses say that, in this place, they have found faith and peace. You will have the opportunity to visit the Apparition Hill and attend the Holy Mass in the local church.

Mostar This is a city of poetry, a city of stone and sleepy, narrow winding streets. It is a city where the traveller from the North feels the first dashes of Mediterranean air imbued with scents of citrus and sea and the

traveller from the South reaches the first glimpses of the continent beyond. The town is exceptional for its dwellings and monuments assembled harmoniously over the centuries thanks to favourable geographical conditions and a sound economic climate. Experience sights such as the Old Bazaar, the Turkish House and one of the many old Mosques.

After the guided tour of the town enjoy some free time for strolling around and browsing among the many old craft shops or maybe have lunch in one of the picturesque local restaurants.

Montenegro

Exotic landscapes are not always distant and unapproachable. Located less then an hour's drive from Dubrovnik, Montenegro offers an unforgettable experience; exceptional natural beauty in combination with a rich history and culture. Enjoy the drive around the Kotor Bay with it's numerous small settlements; stop in Medieval Kotor to soak in the typical Mediterranean lifestyle; continue high up into the mountains driving through Cetinje, once the seat of the Montenegrian rulers; Budva, the ancient town which is today a lively tourist resort.

24 to 27C.

Please estimate number of delegates from hosting country who are likely to attend

We estimate that 60-100 delegates from our country might attend the congress.

EABCT ASSOCATION

Croatian Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies will provide all the

organizational support, with the help of the congress agency (Adria congress), as well as the

communication with invited speakers and delegates related to their participation, including

scientific programme.

CABCT has already organized very successful EABCT congress in 2009, also in Dubrovnik and

the national CBT conference in 2015 in Zagreb. Both events have got very positive evaluations

for organization and for the scientific programme.

We also expect some support (including financial support) from the Ministry of Science and

Education, and Ministry of Health.

SUPPORT FROM CITY

What support would be available from the national and City Tourist Boards and from the Convention

centre

City tourist board will gladly offer their support by providing tourist materials.

National tourist board will contribute by providing some souvenirs and promo materials, as

well as sending a delegate to greet EABCT participants.

PROFESSIONAL CONGRESS SUPPORT

EABCT will be tendering for Professional Congress Support once a decision has been made on the venue.

Please list potential support organisations who EABCT might approach.

Adria congress agency will gladly provide all the support they can offer as PCO.

Tender has been done for the conference EABCT 2009, so we find best to confide the tourist

and technical organization to the same team since they proved as the best solution.

Using this agency as a PCO (Professional Conference Organizer), DMC (Destination

Management Company) and Conference service we will not have to worry about the

organization of our event. Therefore, we will be able to deal with our daily obligations and

work, knowing that the organization is in the hands of experts.

Some members of our team have more than 30 years’ experience working in congress tourism.

In 2014 our team led candidacy in Stavanger (Norway) for hosting EPC 2018 congress in

Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik became hosting destination between Amsterdam, Istanbul and Valencia.
