Needed are construction professionals who are willing to volunteer their services as well as donated building materials. Sunny Day Club Quilt Auction is TODAY!Sunday, June 2 - Turner Discipleship Center Hallway

If you have a loved one who has suffered from Alzheimer’s, or you have a desire to support the Sunny Day Club ministry, please consider participating in our silent auction. You may bid on a beautiful quilt hand made by Betty Tolson, one of our Sunny Day members. The quilt and the silent auction will be located in the Turner Discipleship Center hallway. The funds will be used to complete a walkway in the prayer garden leading to the Sunny Day Memorial honoring past Sunny Day members. Sunny Day Club is a group that offers fellowship for those experiencing the early stages of memory loss, as well as, a respite for their family caregivers.

Georgia Youth Choir to Present Concert Wednesday, June 5, 6 pm, Chapel Combined youth choirs from First Baptist Church in Forsyth, Georgia, and Forsyth

United Methodist Church will offer an hour-long free concert as a part of the choir’s summer music & missions tour to Chicago, Illinois. The 40-voice choir will sing a variety of music, both sacred and secular.

Home Stays Needed for Visiting Georgia Youth Choir The 40 choristers that are a part of this cross-denominational choir will be in need

Our United Methodist Women circles collected more than 280 blankets and 500 bars of soap for UMCOR birthing kits to be used in Haiti?

The goal was to assemble and complete 100 kits which required 200 cotton receiving blankets and 100 bars of soap. UMW circle members provided the

remaining needs that included string, razor blades, plastic sheeting , rubber gloves and Ziploc bags. The goal was met and exceeded, much to the delight of the 17 women who gathered to assemble and prepare the kits.
