Harvest Hands is a catalyst for Christ-centered, wholistic community development working alongside our neighbors to further healthy living, education, spiritual formation and economic development in South Nashville.

Step Up to ServeThanks to the KidSALE Committee for their hard work recently in making the KidSale consignment sale such a huge success! This ministry is led by a team of 15 dedicated women along with over 100 volunteers plus our BUMC youth who help with set up and take down. It’s a ministry that benefits everyone: the consignor who receives 70% of the proceeds, the buyers who are able to purchase quality items for their children at a fraction of the retail cost, and the church who receives 30% of the proceeds that benefit missions such as BUMC youth trips, Harvest Hands, 61st Ave. UMC Summer Programs, Honduras, Russia, Thembelihle Pre-School in South Africa and many more.

Thank you to all the Sunday school classes & BUMC members who have given their time to help with the Room In The Inn (RITI) ministry. Help us in thanking these individu-als for stepping up to the call of service by joining with us on a Special Day of Recognition that has been scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 22nd in all three services.

Habitat Construction Has BegunOver 350 volunteers from BUMC and Trinity will be working through June 2nd on the O’Neal family’s home. Dedication will be on Sunday, June 3 at 2 pm. Connect to more information at www.bumc.net/habitat.
