Church-wide Picnic two weeks away - August 18Hope you’ve made plans to attend this year’s Church-wide Picnic, August 18 from 4:30-7pm. Dr. Davis Chappell will deliver a brief vesper service at 6:30 with music from Christen Cole. BUMC will provide Stroud’s BBQ and sides, and we’ll have games and inflatables as always. So all you need is blanket to spread on the grass or a couple of lawn chairs. See you there!

Parenting with Love and Logic WorkshopSundays, September 8 – October 6, 5 – 7 pmLearn techniques to create a respectful, healthy relationship with your children and to prepare them for the real world. Friendship GardenKnow someone who could use a little encouragement? Pick a bouquet from our Friendship Garden located at the back of the parking lot adjacent to the Turner Discipleship Center. The garden is in its summer glory now and ready to be shared!
Register now online or by calling Paula Cryan at 373-3663. Disciple Bible Study is a program of intensive, disciplined Bible study [30-45 min. daily] that meets for 2 hours over 32-34 weeks. Disciple I is the prerequisite for all other Disciple Bible Studies.
Disciple Leaders Needed: Have you lead a Disciple class in the past or are you a Dis-ciple graduate with the gift of teaching and facilitation? South Africa Partnership Highlighted in Worship August 17/18Find out more about our partnership with Thembelihle School in South Africa on the week-end of August 17/18, when Dr. Carolyn Hancock, a representative of the school will speak in worship and show a video featuring students, teachers, and parents.
