BUMC Foundation Scholarship Applications Now Available - Deadline is May 1Each year BUMC Foundation awards at least four $1000 renewable scholarships to high school or college seniors who are participants in the life of BUMC and are plan-ning a career in a helping or caring profession (like teaching, medical field, biblical studies, etc.). Application deadline is May 1. In addition, the Foundation offers the $6,000 Howard Olds Scholarship for seminary students. Individuals eligible to apply for this award are seminary students approved by the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church, or an adjacent conference, for full-time Master of Divinity or similar education in a United Methodist owned, affiliated or approved educational institution. Habitat for Humanity – Giving continues this Sunday Fundraising totals are in, and we are nearing our $70,000 goal! Please drop your

contribution for the Habitat for Humanity build in the collection plate, mail it to the church with “H4H” on the memo line, or go online to the BUMC Access page to make your contribution.

Snacks and Juice Boxes NeededWe are looking for individuals, families or Sunday School classes to donate snacks and juice boxes for our After-school Program. Snacks needed include: fruit snacks, granola bars, goldfish, teddy grahams, peanut butter crackers and 100 calorie packs. Juice boxes must be 100% juice. Snack sponsorships of $100 are also welcome. The Harvest Hands AAU Basketball Team Announcing the creation of a fourth grade AAU boy’s basketball team! We are looking for fifteen $250 sponsorships, so we can in turn charge only a small participation fee. Sponsorships help cover costs of jerseys, tournament entry fees, and travel.
