Other Reasons to Consider Bartering for Advertising

Bartering Moves Excess Inventory& Fills Idle Space and Time

Every business owner struggles withthe dilemma of what to do with de-preciating inventory or idle time. By

bartering for advertising with Ormitayou are using that excess capacity togenerate more cash sales.

    Barter Improves Cash Flow

There are three basic ways to improveyour cash flow - maximise your returnon investment, generate additionalsales and reduce costs. Ormita does allthree of these things. Bartering allowsyou to buy advertising using yourdepreciating inventory or previouslyunsold time, empty hotel rooms or un-filled seats. Rather than discounting, you are maximising the value of thoseassets while generating incrementalsales. When you purchase media us-ing those barter credits the paymentis made from new sales -- sales thatwould not have otherwise happened.

    Attracts New Cash Paying Clients

By using barter to acquire advertisingyou are increasing the possibilitiesthat people will recognise your prod-uct or service and buy from you forcash youre the time is right.

Bartering Maximises The Value ofYour Excess Capacity

Bartering via Ormita will return morevalue for your product or service thaneither discounting or cash liquida-

tion would allow. Bartering can evenrecover the original wholesale price, including the full anticipated profit.

    Creating Wholesale Buying Power

With barter, the real cost of the adver-tising is the cost to make a new sale. For time or serviced based industriesthis is nominal. For product manufac-turers this is either: the cost to manu-facturer a replacement product; or theextra margin that you would not haveearned if you had sold for the dis-tressed item at liquidation prices.

    Ensures Retention of Brand Value

Ormita allows you to barter yourproduct or service at full marketvalue without impacting your brand

or cash-paying customers. By sellingoff-market to Ormita members abusiness retains full control over product placement and pricing. Ormitamatches sellers with buyers fromacross the globe providing a newoutlet to move those products.

    Generates Cash Referrals

People who acquire your product orservice on barter are likely to tell oth-ers. This may result in more word-of-mouth referrals, an increasedwork-portfolio, more recommenda-tions, improved organizational skills, higher visibility and more cash sales.

Bartering for Advertising Expands Your Market Share

Advertising is essentially mass-produced salesmanship. If it were possible to speak to all of ones prospectsface-to-face, no one would bother to use advertising. Because most businesses cannot do this, they need to pay fosome form of advertisement. Unfortunately, the cost of advertising may be too high for many businesses, particularly in the current economic environment. Barter can be the saviour of such an enterprise.

You will need to tell us if there are any restrictions onwhere your product can go or who it can be sold to onbarter. (We dont want to impact your current cash market).

When Buying Your Product on Barter

You can not buy advertising from a business you havealready purchased from using cash within the last 12months. (You could instead choose another available advertising outlet which has a similar audience).

Prices are rate card or better (depending on volume andfrequency of advertising).

Not all media are available all the time.

Most media require brand approval. This means youwill need to submit information to them about what you

are intending to advertise, copies of your brochures andany examples of other advertising you have doneelsewhere.

All media barter buys are 100% barter unless otherwisenoted. (There is a 14% cash fee on every advertising purchaseto cover our costs).
