Verb + Gerund

• I enjoy swimming at the beach• She keeps working until midnight• It stopped raining a few minutes ago• She have discussed getting a new manager

• Common verbs followed by the gerunds: enjoy, finish, stop, quit, mind, postpone, put off, keep, keep on, consider, think about, discuss, talk about.

Go + Gerund

Examples:• I go swimming every weekend. • Would you ever go skydiving?
