Sample Test Paper for Pre-Entry Test for admission to

ALL BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMS 2009

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. In order to ensure a fair chance to every candidate and to conduct the test efficiently, the

candidates must carefully follow the instructions given in the test paper and by the instructor. 2. Every candidate is required to write his/her name, father's name, seat number and signature on the

OMR answer sheet at the space provided. Please write your Seat No. and sign on the rough worksheet as well. (Please refer sample answer sheet)

3. All rough work must be done on the rough worksheet. 4. The test is divided into FIVE PARTS i.e. English, General Knowledge, General Science, Simple

Arithmetic and Simple Intelligence. Each part is composed of many short items. You will be given separate instruction for each part.

5. The instructor will inform the candidates when to start work on any part of the test and when to stop. It is of utmost importance that work is performed only on that part on which the test is in progress.

6. Use Black Ball Point only, provided for this purpose. 7. In case you mark more than one answer for the same item, your answer will be treated as wrong. 8. There will be NEGATIVE MARKING in all parts of the test. Each correct answer carries four points.

For each wrong answer, one point shall be deducted. 9. Please see the instructions at bottom of each page of the test paper which will guide you whether

you are to remain on the same page or can go on to the next page. 10. When the instructor says STOP, cover your test paper with the OMR answer sheet. In the interest

of fairness, we insist that no one may continue work even for a mom ent after the instructor has asked that the work be stopped.

11. During the test, do not talk, whisper, or turn your eyes or head away from your own test paper. 12. Any evidence of cheating or non-compliance of instructions will disqualify the candidate from the

test, and his/her name will be removed from the list of the candidates for admission. 13. Tearing pages or writing anything anywhere on the test paper will disqualify you from the test. 14. This test paper is the property of The University of Sindh. You have to return this test paper at the

end of the test. If a candidate takes the test paper away for any reason he/she will be treated according to the law.

15. The University of Sindh reserves the right to cancel any question during or after the test if any discrepancy i s found.

16. The University of Sindh reserves the right to re -test any candidate without assigning any reason.

NOTE: The candidates should not mark answers on the test paper ; all answers must be marked only on the OMR answer sheet with Black Ball Point ONLY. The sample test paper and OMR answer sheet in the Catalogue is only a guideline and cannot be quoted for legal implications.
