There is a $100 setup fee for each bar set. Thisfee will be waived if a minimum of $125 in salesis achieved at each bar.

GUARANTEES

Event menus and preliminary customer countsare required no less than 21 business days inadvance of the event.

A final guarantee is due by Noon, three (3) fullbusiness days prior to the date of the event. If afinal guarantee is not submitted in the timeframe declared, the original guarantee will beconsidered final. You will be charged for thefinal guarantee meal count or actual mealsserved, whichever is greater.

In the event that a request for an item is lessthan three (3) business days prior to a function,we will accommodate if the product is avail-able. Additional charges may apply.

Menus submitted less than seven (7) days priorto the event are subject to availability, and mayinclude an additional charge.

We shall provide an additional 5% over the finalguarantee count if this final count is received inthe approved time period. These additionalmeals will only be billed if they are served. Theadditional meals will not be guaranteed tomatch the original menu selection.

MEALS ABOVE THE 5%

Customers shall be assessed an additionalcharge for each meal that exceeds the 5% guarantee provision. The additional mealscannot be guaranteed to match the originalmenu selection or price and will be subject to a 10% surcharge.

SPECIALTY ITEMS

ISU Dining will be glad to secure specialty fooditems for customers. However, due to the leadtime and unique ordering conditions of someproducts, the final guarantee will be requiredearlier than the usual three (3) business days.

Some examples of specialty items include organic, all-Iowa products or special cuts ofmeat that are not listed on the menu.

CANCELLATIONS

If the entire event is canceled less than three (3)business days prior to the event, a 50% chargewill apply. If the entire event is canceled lessthan 24 hours prior to scheduled event, a 100%charge will apply.

Specialty items will be charged at 100% of theoriginal guarantee.

Exceptions to cancellations may be made if theNational Weather Service declares a weatheremergency. In this case the customer will notbe charged for any expenses incurred.

BEVERAGE SERVICE

Beverages associated with meal events shall beserved during the period the meal is scheduled.This period shall be defined as the service-startand service-end times identified on the FoodService Order sheet.

Credit for individual beverages ordered will beissued for unopened containers of canned sodaor bottled water only.

BUFFET SERVICE

Buffet events that exceed one (1) hour in servicetime shall be subject to an additional 5% chargefor each additional one-half hour of service.

Buffet events that serve fewer than 25 mealsshall be charged the minimum buffet charge,which is based on a meal count of 25. Menusubstitutions that cause higher product orservice costs may result in an additional charge.

Number of Buffet Tables — These numbers areapproximate and depend on the meal chosen.

25-150 people: 1 buffet line, double sided tables, 2 lines

150-300 people: 2 buffet lines, double sided tables, 4 lines

300-450 people: 3 buffet lines, double sided tables, 6 lines

If you prefer additional buffet lines, there willbe an additional charge.

FOOD SERVICE

In accordance with state regulations and ISUrisk management guidelines, department regulations, and insurance regulations, no foodor beverages shall be taken from the Iowa StateCenter premises. At the conclusion of the event,such food becomes the property of ISU Dining.

All food service in the Iowa State Center complex is the responsibility of ISU Dining. No outside food or beverage products may beserved at events in the complex without the express permission of ISU Dining.

Product sampling, for specific food shows in theIowa State Center, is permitted if approved byISU Dining.

WEDDING INFORMATION

ITEMS LEFT IN THE CARE OF ISU DININGISU Dining will be glad to return items left inour care if they meet the following criteria:

1. All items must be picked up the night of the event or ISU Dining is not responsiblefor lost or misplaced items.

2. ISU Dining must be provided a list of allitems to be returned to the customer priorto the event.

3. The customer must provide a storage container for all items to be saved.

4. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensurethat they have all of their items when theyleave the Iowa State Center.

Customers may bring in their own weddingcakes; however, this will not reduce the cost oftheir meal.
