Rita MorenoBorn Rosita Dolores Alverio, Rita Moreno is the first Hispanic woman to win an Academy Award and is one of few people to hold the honor of being a “PEGOT” winner. (She has won Peabody, Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards over the course of her career, which has spanned more than 70 years.) Although her long career has taken her from stage to screen, this Bronx girl is most famous for her portrayal of Anita in the 1962 film West Side Story, one of the best movie musicals, for which she won her Academy Award.

Academic OutreachFall Schedule 2021

SENIORSOn October 7th, Cal Soap and Cash for College will present a Virtual workshop covering line by line FAFSA support and Dream Act breakout sessions. More information to come.

All students attending college, including community college and the Promise Grant, must file a FAFSA or CADA by March 2nd in order to receive free or reduced tuition.

Sign up at https://forms.gle/FkfH59AjVhgDpKz19Students who attend a workshop and submit the survey will be entered into a $1000 Scholarship drawing.

COVID Testing

Available at RCHS all week - see the COVID-19 page of our website for more info

You must be pre-registered to walk-up for testing (no appointment required).

To get pre-registered, follow the instructions on the COVID-19 page of the RCHS website.

Students cannot sign up and register. Parents must do that for them. If a student is not properly registered they will spend a lot of time at the testing location calling their parents and having them complete registration while they wait around. Students MUST BE REGISTERED before they go to test.
