We take a great pride in the quality of our dentistry and want to make your visits a pleasant experience. Our aim is good dental health for you and your family through preventative dentistry. That means giving you regular dental advice And helping you understand how to care for your teeth yourself to reduce the need for dental treatment.

We comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Confidentiality NHS Code of Practice and we have a complaints procedure in place. We are used to working with children and have a good selection of toys in the waiting room. You’ll find your comments and questions on any aspect of our practice are welcomed, and we will be pleased to discuss your individual needs at any time.

Appointments & Emergencies

You can make an appointment by telephone or you can call in to make arrangements. Our regular appointment times are on the back of this leaflet. If you need to be seen urgently, please telephone the surgery for advice. If treatment is essential, we will do our best to arrange it within 24 hours. Please give us as much notice as possible if you have to cancel an appointment. Once your initial treatment is complete, we encourage you to come back to the practice at regular intervals to see that everything is going well.

In an EmergencyIf you need to be seen the same day, please get in touch as early in the day as possible. In case of an emergency out of hours, phone 0161 476 9651. If treatment is necessary, we will do our best to arrange it within 24 hours.

Our range of serviceWe offer a full range of N.H.S treatment. Private crown and bridge work, cosmetic dentistry, implants and bleaching are also available. To help you look after your teeth, we offer a good range of dental care products. Estimates will be given at your 1st or 2nd visit.

Special services Please tell us if you have any special needs. If you are disabled we will do our best to help. If you have any worries about visiting the dentist, we can help you overcome the situation. We always regard children as very special patients and do everything possible to make their visits as pleasant and enjoyable.

Choosing your best way to payAfter your teeth have been examined and a treatment plan has been agreed, you’ll be given a written estimate of the cost of the work to be done.

Our normal procedure is to ask you to pay for your dental treatment at the end of each visit to the surgery. Payments can be made by cash, cheque or credit card.

If you qualify for free treatment on the N.H.S, we will be able to discuss the details and give you advice. If you are worried about the cost of dental treatment or find any point about charges difficult to understand, please let us know.

You don’t have to pay if...1. You are under 18 or under 19 and in full time education.

2. You are pregnant or a nursing mother and your child is under one year old.

3. You are in receipt of income support or tax credit exception certificate, or have a department of health certificate for help with dental charges. Receive income based jobseekers allowance, or pension credit guarantee credit.
