Activity Level:
Moderate
The majority of the program’s activities will take place outdoors and a fair amount of walking on varying terrain is to
be expected. Many of the parks have dirt trails, but they are usually fairly smooth for walking, some do have paved
pathways and boardwalks. It is our expectation that guests on this program are able to get in and out of a
motorcoach without assistance and be sure-footed on frozen or ice-covered terrain. If you are able to walk a mile at
a moderate pace, you will be able to enjoy all of the excursions. However, there are opportunities for different
abilities to enjoy the national parks. Also keep in mind that you will experience varying altitudes, rising up to 7,705’,
to which you may not be accustomed.
Transportation Info:
Traveling by Motor Coach:
Between the majority of your destinations, you will travel comfortably in a private, air-conditioned, motor coach or
mini bus.
What Guests Are Saying:
“Every day and all activities exceptional. The canyon walk and raft trip were such highlights.
Regarding our Expedition Leader, if there was a category above excellent, I would have marked that!
She was the best. I learned so much from her... and enjoyed her totally!”
–Barbara S., Lakewood Ranch, FL
“This was our 5th trip with Orbridge. I shared with a few people that we like Orbridge trips because
they are adventurous, well planned and well implemented. We also like the literature provided with the
early booking.
I don't remember ever being hungry! Selection of food and number of opportunities to eat were
exceptional. We did manage to consume it all!
Our guides were fountains of knowledge. Our adventure was greatly enhanced by their narrative. There
was also a great deal of humor that I find essential in any memorable excursion.”
–Jim & Lucy C., Grand Prairie, TX
“All the hotels were outstanding. We loved the Jasper lodge as it was more rustic. Our bus driver was
great! He was very friendly and helpful to everyone. He was very safe, the bus was very neat and clean,
and it was very comfortable. Our guide was also great. He was very friendly and helpful. He was very
knowledgeable about Canada and the United States. His talks were very interesting and fun as well --
he had a great sense of humor.
The Rocky Mountaineer was FABULOUS! We absolutely loved it and have recommended it to everyone
we've talked to.”
–Diane & Ted P., Charlottesville, VA
“Our driver was just terrific and the ride was comfortable. We always felt safe and secure with him at
the wheel. He was so personable and pleasant. We liked him very much!
Our guide was absolutely terrific. His knowledge about the area, the history, and the geology was
impressive and interesting. He also knew "the ropes" about when to arrive at certain areas in order to
avoid massive crowds. I can't say enough about his professionalism and leadership. He did a superb
job!
It was a wonderful trip.”
–David & Mary K., Hudson, WI
“This was our third trip with Orbridge and we hope there will be many more. We like the high quality of
the destinations and the services, the experienced tour guides and the experience of traveling with
other alumni.”
–Anne O., Brooklyn, NY
“All of the accommodations were way beyond our expectations. Someday we will return. This was a
bucket list trip—along with the train ride from Banff to Vancouver.”

and fun.”
