ASSIGNMENT 12
DRAMA
By Monae
Yellow
level
INSPIRATIONAL FILMS
4,3,2,1
The spit screen was
creative and I wanted
to implement this
similarly to this scene.
Split screen
require different
characters but
at the same
time .
INSPIRATIONAL FILMS

Ruins

Doesn’t care

voiceovers to
make a bigger

There didn’t
need to be a

have a big

STYLE OF OPENING SEQUENCE
The opening sequence would be a teaser
and establishing characters
Teaser opening sequences make the
audience want more information and want to
watch the whole film.
Watching 4,3,2,1 (drama) made me want to
watch the whole film, which I wanted the
same effect.
NARRATIVE STRUCTURE & THEORY
This is a non-linear structure starting with the end.
The cons of conventional film narrative model:
- Too predictable
- Leaving audience not satisfied
I chose this style to leave the audience with enigmas
It encourages communication with others and their thoughts.
Would link to Allan Cameron- involving anachronic and spit screen scenes.
