Taking you into the mind of a geniusTest your inventive skills by creating the bird below.

1. Let us begin. Fold your square in half, a perfect crease along the diagonal. Now unfold it.

2. With perfect precision, bring the two sides to meet the crease you fashioned.

3. And now, fold back the top to obscure it from view.

4. Onwards then, as we bring the two points to the center line…

5. …and using agile fingers, pull the insides towards you, before pressing flat.

6. Fold those newly fashioned corners up, as illustrated.

7. Now, a delicate maneuver. Fold up the bottom on the dashed line, then fold down.

8. Cradling your construction with care, fold the entire assembly in half.

10. Firmly, but with a delicate touch, fold the top point inwards to form a beak.

11. Now, all that remains is to give your bird sight, and see it reach the heavens.
