Applebee’s Onion Peels Dipping sauce ½ c. mayo 1 tbsp. prepared horseradish 2 tsp. white vinegar 1 tsp. water 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. ketchup ¼ tsp. black pepper 1/8 tsp. dried oregano 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper Dash garlic powder Dash onion powder 1 large onion Batter ½ c. flour ½ c. breadcrumbs ½ tsp. salt ½ tsp. black pepper 11/2 c. milk Slice ends off of the onion. Cut each half of the onion into 6 parts. Separate the onions. Whisk all of the batter ingredients, mixing dry ingredients first. Mix until smooth. Let batter sit for 5 minutes and whisk again. Dip each onion piece into the batter, let it drip a little. Fry 12 slices at a time.
