• Last year Nura introduced their adaptive hearing head-phones, Nuraphones. We were impressed. • This year, they launched the world’s first adaptive ear-buds, Nuraloop, which like their older sibling alter their output to suit the
user’s hearing. How does it work? NuraLoop plays a range of tones into the ear, and then measures a very faint sound that your ear generates in response to these tones called the Otoacoustic Emission (OAE). This means that a person who lacks sensitivity to low tones will received increased base; and so forth. The system also offers active noise-cancellation and a social mode.

flexible 180-degree hinged AMOLED display. Marketing people at the booth were specially trained to handle the device; it was cool to see, but the design was less perfect – rather chunky with a crinkly edge, but with improvement will be amazing.
• It is available to buy in China right now, for about $1,300; Royale recommends that consumers hold off for awhile. We agree. But it does give you a sense of the future.
