Thank you all for the overwhelmingly positive response for the premiere is-sue of Global Momentum. I have heard from many of you as to how you used this communication to help showcase our global presence and secure more exclusive listings. I am very glad we were able to provide yet another point of distinction with the brand to help you continue to grow your business.
As mentioned in the first issue, the intent is to update all of you on a quarterly basis on our international happenings. The next issue will be inserted in Collections, so you will have all brand-worthy news and information in one place.
This past quarter was indeed excep-tionally busy, and we had two global regional meetings. Our EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) affiliates meeting
in Rome was extremely well attended and informative with best practices from colleagues in that region includ-ing Portugal and South Africa. The Rome office opening also took place that same week at the historic Villa Aurelia with breathtaking views of this idyllic city. Affiliates from around the globe came out for this event.
The following week our senior leadership team led by Philip White and Wendy Purvey flew to Jupiter, Florida where we hosted the CALA (Caribbean & Latin America) affiliates meeting with key U.S.-based feeder market affiliates in attendance. This proved exceptional-ly fruitful and even provided the back-drop for a $30 million referral to Rio de Janeiro during one of our breaks.
I also had the privilege of doing an extensive trip to Asia where I visited our
offices in New Zealand, Australia and Tokyo. All of which have been growing their respective businesses year over year and continue to increase market share in their territories.
I hope you enjoy this issue, which will highlight in greater detail all I have mentioned above, and please continue to send me relevant content for future issues.
Happy Reading!

CALABELIZE SOTHEBY’S PLACENCIA OFFICE OPENING
on june 5th, 2015 Belize Sotheby’s International Realty, belizesir.com proudly launched its
second office, located on the beautiful
Placencia Peninsula in Southern Belize.
The event was well attended by mem-
bers of the Placencia community and
Belize Sotheby’s International Realty
agents, who were also celebrating the
one year anniversary of Belize Sotheby’s
International Realty.
The opening of
Belize Sotheby's
International Re-
alty in Placencia
is well-timed.
This increasingly
popular area
of the country
is steadily
attracting a
more upscale
clientele, from
tourists to real
estate investors
and developers. Apart from having one
of the best beaches in Belize, and easy
access to both aquatic and inland adven-
tures, Placencia offers a sense of calm,
privacy and peacefulness. This is among
the many reasons why it was a natural
choice for Belize Sotheby's International
Realty's second location. Placencia’s
private property owners and large-scale
developers have certainly responded
positively. Francis Ford Coppola knew Pla-
cencia’s potential when he invested in his
beautiful beachfront resort over a decade
ago. Belize Sotheby’s International Realty
is anticipating much more growth, while
meeting the professional real estate needs
of this expanding area.
This is the start of another great chapter
for Belize Sotheby’s International Realty’s
growing strength and presence in Belize. ■

"As the premier luxury res-
idential real estate company

International Realty Québec
prides itself on shaping new
trends in the industry. No res-
idential resale company has
ever positioned itself in the
downtown core, so it was only

move into downtown’s most sought-after
neighborhood,” explains Sacha Brosseau,
director of operations. Named after the
square mile it once covered, the Golden
Square Mile is lined with gorgeous archi-
tecture and Victorian homes. Given the
Sotheby’s brand’s long association with
the art and auction world, it made sense
to be situated in this culturally rich area,
home to several of Montreal’s top muse-
ums and art institutes.
Designed by Sacha Brosseau and
Marilyn Fryer from Sotheby’s International
Realty Québec and Andrew MacFarlane
(vice-president of operations) from Sothe-
by’s International Canada, the three-story
headquarters features modern glassed-in
offices, an impressive lounge, and houses
stunning works of art from local artist Michel
Gamache. The 5,000ft2 space also boasts
two closing rooms, three boardrooms and
an enclosed outdoor terrace, perfect for
negotiating and closing multi-million
dollar deals in comfort and privacy.
