Anton Paar Nordic AB invites you to the “Rheology week 2018”. This workshop is targeted to people who are interested in a two-day Rheology basics seminar, or the single application days for polymers, paints & coatings, or food. It is possible to participate in the basic Rheology seminar, single application days, or all together in one week.
Mr Markus Nemeth
Graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Esslingen, Germany. During the past eight years with Anton Paar, Markus has gained a vast of experience in the field of practical rheology. He is a frequent speaker at seminars and trainings for companies and institutes from a wide range of technical branches around the world. These seminars provide information on the basics of rheology and rheometry and the useful transfer of this knowledge into industrial practice.

April 25 Application day 1 – Rheology of Polymers
09:00 Determination of appropriate tests to characterize polymers and interpret the data generated (flow curves, normal stress, stress relaxation, amplitude and frequency sweeps, DMA)

10:45 Characterization of the changes in viscoelastic properties over a range of temperatures

13:00 Identification of melt temperatures, glass transition temperatures, and curing kinetics
15:00 Utilization of the appropriate measuring hardware based upon the sample to be measured

15:45 Practical tests on participants’ own samples with different setups
