About The ArcThe Arc is the nation’s leading and largest community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families. For over 65 years, The Arc has advocated for and provided services and supports for over a million individuals with I/DD and their families—including employment, health, future planning, and advocacy resources. Our grassroots network consists of nearly 700 affiliated, independent chapters across the country, with a presence in 48 states and the District of Columbia. The Arc works together with professionals, academics, and local, state and national community and agency leaders to foster respect for individuals with I/DD and empowers them to achieve full, independent, and satisfying lives.

Why Sponsor?Sponsorship is the best way to reach those most deeply involved in advocacy and support for people with I/DD. Every year The Arc hosts three major events: Disability Policy Seminar, the National Conference of Executives (NCE) Summer Leadership Institute, and the National Convention & International Forum. By becoming a sponsor, your organization will have access to the decision makers and influencers and direct purchasers — including families and self-advocates — who can benefit from your programs, services, or products. Our expanded sponsorship options allow you to select both the events as well as the packages most effective for your business. The Arc’s vast network through a wide range of targeted promotional options as well as the opportunity to meet in person with key decision makers can help. Of course all of this is dependent on and sensitive to your budget, as well as the type/amount of interaction you are seeking to enhance your business.

National Convention & International ForumOctober 27-29, 2016 • Orlando, Florida

National Convention is our biggest annual event, with over 1000 attendees anticipated this year. Over the course of two and a half days, Convention participants listen to top influential speakers such as Tim Shriver, Chairman of Special Olympics, who joined us at our National Convention in 2015 and shared inspiring lessons and thought-provoking discussions on the latest issues confronting the disability community. A range of breakout sessions focus on unique challenges and opportunities. This year, Inclusion International will be joining us for a joint event which will bring attendees from over 40 different nations around the world.

1 Selection of speakers is competitive and not tied to sponsorship opportunities. Call for papers opens March and breakout sessions will be selected in late May-early June. For more information, please click here.

Who attends?Chapter leaders and staff, volunteers, sector

professionals and academics, caregivers, family members, and self-advocates, all of whom are engaged with and actively involved in The Arc often at the local, state and national levels.
