Our employee focus for the month of October
is Joseph Nelson who has been with MSD for
about 8 months! He has worked in this field for
15 years, he chose this line of work because his
dad is a plumber and he worked with him in the
summer during his high school years as a helper.
Joseph has one kid named Joseph Dakota
Nelson, who is 13! He also has a German Shepard
named Willow. Joseph’s most memorable
moments are finishing basic, training for the
army, serving in Iraq for 1 year, and the day his
son was born.
Fall is Joseph’s favorite time of the year be-
cause he gets to watch his Ohio State Buckeyes
play!
Joseph’s Words of Wisdom: “ Be patient, don't
sacrifice quality and safety to get a job done.”
Josephs Encouraging Word: “It’s a brand new
day, your alive do something meaningful about
that.”

Wash the apples well. Carefully cut out the cores with a sharp paring knife. Use a mandolin slicer to
slice the apples to 1/8″ thick. Lay out on the baking sheets, trying not to overlap too many apples.
