PROFILEI have worked retail logistics for 21 years, working in Distribution Centre operations as a colleague prior to being promoted to section manager, progressing to site operations manager. During my more recent career, I have held the positions of Logistics Continuous Improvement Manager, Project Manager and am now UK warehousing Logistics Manager. I have substantial experience in boxed and hanging clothing FMCG, including dot com and International (multi-channel) operations. I have managed large teams of c.250 people to deliver business as usual DC operations, as well as small project teams focused on delivering change to support business strategy. I am trained in lean and Prince 2, which on top of my operational experience provides me with a rounded, end to end view of how best to optimise benefits, ensuring change management is well considered and delivered to all appropriate levels.My stakeholders have included Logistics Operations (internal and 3PL), Retail, Buying and Merchandising, Supply Chain, IT, Property and Facilities.I believe in identifying key skill sets and building high performing teams, with an emphasis on fulfilling development needs.

Implementation of supply chain accuracy programme within Marks and Spencer, measuring accuracy from factory to store – business as usual accuracy team developed to monitor and instigate process developments.

Generated C. £1.5m savings through continuous improvement projects. Achieved 2007-2015 energy reduction target in UK warehouses. Streamlined processes and layout for several International sites, extending operational

timelines, removing requirement to spend on additional assets. Implemented new WMS, removing paper operation. Completed UAT, start up and training to all

managers. Generated £1m revenue stream through development of International processing database

with external customer.
