Project Manager - Improved efficiencies in communication and quality in order to manage a Lean/Agile approach to support delivery and reporting. Developed concise training and reference documentation and configured the new support tool (Rational Team Concert) to manage this midrange server farm (Cloud). This resulted in consolidated process and reporting, offering build and delivery efficiencies with Quality Assurance integrated in the life cycle. Key to creating and validating the control spreadsheet for the $1.5m budget v forecasts v actuals for the lead project manager covering the 2013 calendar year (included multiple currencies for the global team).

Essential Energy/ Country Energy, Australia 2008 - 2012Project Manager - development and support of a variety of applications gaining further insights into system integration and utility energy systems whilst working on this account as an IBM employee and contractor.Improved efficiencies enabling business client to manage increased requirements and data without increasing the number of staff support these applications.This was achieved through gaining detailed technical understanding of Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) systems, MSATS (Market Settlements and Transfer Solutions) and MMS (Market Management System). Managed deployment of 4 and 5 upgrade releases respectively, 6 monthly releases schedule to these systems and interfaces. Costs of a standard release decreased significantly over this period as reusable artefacts and lessons learned were addressed. Facilitated and helped design automation of new functional requirements from AEMO such as mandatory changes to National Electricity Market (NEM). Consolidated requirements specifications from Vendors and business users resulting in effective build and delivery. Created and/or reviewed Test Cases executed and re-used to assure quality outcomes.

Maintenance and Support program 2010 - 2012Designed and created the project management, configuration management, roles and responsibilities plans for over 20 legacy systems. This set of documentation gave the systems high capability quality development and support solutions once implemented.Successful outcomes for the customer were achieved after significant issues on a Microsoft BizTalk application called Flowtalk that interfaces with AEMO (Australian Energy Market Operator) were identified. This created major issues for the Retail Business units and support teams as transaction volumes increased exponentially and service level agreements became under threat. After managing upgrades to hardware and software with direct communication with the vendor ,customer and management of the support team the issues were resolved to every ones satisfaction. This support also required my skills to recommend and install the innovation of automated analysis of transactions so that "duplicate records" were "discarded" to facilitate catch up on transactions by an over worked/stressed team. The solutions required effective communications, analysis/problem solving capabilities, and some escalations across stakeholders and customer to achieve ongoing successful outcomes.Single point of contact for upgrade test and release changes to the companies vendor supplied software, including Health and Safety system (TotalSAFE), Change and Incident management system (Service Manager - VMware) and several other finance, asset and security systems. Test validation management and responsive issue resolution were key to ongoing successful releases.During this period, Service Level Agreement breaches were reduced from moderate/high to low/minimal for the supported applications. Implemented many automated notifications to assure, issues and problems in a complex business system were identified and addressed quickly.Defined test scripts use for automated regression tests for both manual and automated test processes that successfully tested key business functions and performance requirements assuring system

updates didn't “break” existing SLA (service level agreement). These reusable test scripts also saved significant effort during the lifetime of the application software supported. Project Manager – new technology platform 2009 - 2010Increased Client satisfaction by deploying new application development environments for APEX (Oracel's web enabled application development reporting tool) and similarly Tibco's Business Works and managed deployments of new in-house applications on each of these new platforms for the client with excellent feedback. The tools facilitated a range of maintenance and support automation to be undertaken saving support and administration effort and improving quality. Constructed requirement specifications for Tibco tool to monitor and report on availability of interfacing systems and status of transactions.

IBM Fulfilment - major development project. 2008 - 2009Test Manager on the of IBM's warranty support systems for Midrange and Mainframe hardware delivery. Using end to end understanding of IT systems delivered on a complicated project without delays on release to ensure ensure significant cost and improved client satisfaction .The project consolidated support processes and reporting across AP, whilst transitioning 2 development teams and the test team to new global locations in India and China. Trained young global resource test team of 8 - 12 in China to support numerous defects that arose and needed to be detected and managed. The project was successful with no high severity defects identified after release attributed to test scope or quality but this result needed constant monitoring of test artefacts and software configuration to meet plan.

IBM Lease Management Systems (LMS) – Asia Pacific 2003 - 2008Technical Team Leader/ BA - Lotus Notes and Mainframe Development, Maintenance and Support.Responsible for Internet and Intranet informations systems. Managed large Development and Maintenance team to utilise technical skills to meet time frames with in budget.Supported GNA (Global Notes Architecture) transition. (IBM design that focused on internet security).Implemented processes and reporting solutions for Sarbanes–Oxley Act to meet audit requirements.Key as a Business Analyst/designer for solutions to migrate LMS (AP local solution) to the Global corporate applications (US solution) and built web enabled interface for the sales representatives called RepDeal to automate approvals, credit checks and lease initiation.Awards delivered for development of CMM processes to CMMi level accreditation for the business solution.

Telecommunications (Optus) – Arbor project 2000 - 2003This Oracle database solution was modified and added to, to suit Optus' requirements for its Billing system (Arbor-BP).As Interface Manager, managed the integration of a core product (Arbor-BP) into the existing external interfaces at Optus. Over 20 different system interfaces, deploying baseline interface software and execute systems integration testing for:-

Prior to 2000.MLC Computing Services - MLC Disaster Recovery outsourced to IBMThe Disaster Recovery platform offered MLC the opportunity to recovery to a daily position – As Technical team leader I was pivotal in all process from design to test implementation in this successful project. This was the first time testing proved a successful disaster recovery position for MLC systems.

Lend Lease Employer ServicesDeveloped and maintained Payroll and Human Resource solutions as hands on team leader. Engaged in Y2K remediation for:-

· Lend Lease Employer Systems (that became Pay Connect).

· MLC LL financial applications Capsule, Gemini and Oracle Financials.Responsible for managing out-sourced code remediation with vendor working on MLC Finance applications. Developed SASS “Self Assessment” a Superannuation module for the Payroll systems. Used Mainframe system experience in Adabas Natural, DB2, Cobol, JCL, CICS, REX, Clist and Easytrieve to assure in time on budget delivery outcomes.

Mayne Nicholas Computer Services, AustraliaAs an Analyst Programmer, developed and maintained payroll and human resource systems. The main clients were NSW Department of Health, Corrective Services and Police. During the period on these systems whilst on “on call” support, successfully reduced the number of call out problems by improving input data editing to prevent data exceptions, unacceptable payouts and other system failures.
