TCCA timeline

• The TETRA Association is of the opinion that for mission critical data there will remain a requirement for dedicated spectrum.

• TETRA currently offers voice and mission critical data. Without any viable

alternative to voice it will be available for at least the next ten years. • The only dedicated spectrum that is available today and likely to be available

during that time for mission critical data points to TEDS. • Non mission critical data throughout the same period may utilise a commercial

service. • Additional spectrum could become available for first data and then data plus voice

in the longer term. • The TETRA Association believes that any investment in TETRA today and going

forward is protected given these timescales and lack of both spectrum and the desired functionality.
