Receivers have put up for rent the former business HQ of Brendan and Sheila Hade, while the homeless hostel run by playboy son Brian has been put on the market for a cool €550,000. The Bank of Ireland had won a judgement against former male model Brian (44) – who used to own a Lamborghini, a 30ft speedboat and two helicopters – for non- payment of a loan. Now it is selling Brentwood, Ballyboden Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin, to recoup its losses. The property initial- ly went on the market for €595,000, but soon dropped its price by a whopping €45,000. Massive Meanwhile, the upstairs offices of 33- 34 Main Street, Rathfarnham, previ- ously home to several Hade businesses, has been put up for rent by the receivers. The Hades owe a massive €2m on their own properties in addition to the aston- ishing debts they built up by Victory. The Hades have threatened the Sunday World with legal action for expos- ing their millionaire lifestyle and massive property portfolio. We were the first to reveal in June how Victory had lost its charitable status fol- lowing an investiga- tion by the Revenue. The move sparked the Bank of Scotland, which was owed €18m in loans by Victory, and a further €2m by the Hades, for two of their own premises, to call in the receivers. Revenue is now said to be chasing hundreds of thousands of euro in unpaid taxes after stripping away Victory’s charity status. The Hades broke charity rules by run- ning commercial enterprises from the church complex, including a Starbucks and a restaurant. Brendan and Sheila also lived in a giant apartment on site when they were not s u p - posed to ben- efit finan- cially.
