images of mothers breastfeeding their babies throughout the world.
Accompanied by an engaging simple text in both English and Spanish,
this new bilingual title by Moonstone Press LLC was developed in
collaboration with the Monterey CA WIC program. It highlights the
importance of breastfeeding, emphasizes the value of a mother’s milk as
the best nutrition for a child early in life, and portrays breastfeeding as a
wonderful way to bond with one’s newborn and family members.

family in Thailand, are
featured throughout this book.
Similar scenes are repeated
from the United States, Italy,
Ethiopia, the Philippines,
Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iraq,
Brazil, Kenya, Sudan, Laos,
New Guinea, and South Africa.

About the Publisher/Editor
Moonstone Press LLC, an independent press in Sarasota, Florida, was launched in Fall 2001 by internationalphotojournalist and book producer Stephanie Maze for the purpose of publishing high-quality photography -basedbooks in English and Spanish.
Ms. Maze, project editor for the award-winning early-childhood series, MOMENTS IN THE WILD, alsoproduced the acclaimed I WANT TO BE... series about careers for ages 7-12, published by Harcourt BraceChildren's Books. In 1998, this series earned a place on VOYA's Nonfiction Honor list, and two of the titles, IWant To Be A Veterinarian and I Want To Be An Engineer were named “Outstanding Science Trade Books” bythe National Science Teachers Association and the Children's Book Council.
