This architecture shows that buildings don’t have to be perfectly straight and symmetrical but they can still be beautiful. The “cold exterior” in terms of materials doesn’t make the house seem cold. The building has ironically, a warmth to it that may not be seen until looking more deeply at it. The Clients Request: The clients wanted a glass house for three people, divided into two apartment areas, one for their daughter and one for themselves. They wanted a rooftop pool with a view of the Eiffel tower. In regards to the swimming pool they wanted unobstructed views. The idea for the house Is a glass central area where there is a living and dining room, and two apartment areas are floating offset from to opposite sides of the building. This was done to maximize views in each space.
