This is how your trip will unfold…. Day 1 - Seattle – Phoenix The fun begins as we fly from Sea Tac Airport
to sunny Phoenix Arizona. Upon arrival, our
motorcoach will whisk you away to Williams
Arizona where you will experience the luxury
of a bygone era at Grand Canyon Railway
Hotel. Designed to resemble the century-old
train depot that housed the original Fray
Marcos Hotel, this hotel is a relaxing retreat in
a picturesque Western setting. After checking
in to your hotel, join the group for a Welcome
Dinner.

Day 2 - Rail to the Grand Canyon- Overnight in the Grand Canyon Enjoy a buffet breakfast this morning and then
get ready for a fantastic adventure. From its
yesteryears of transporting ore through the
Wild West to present-day journeys in the heart
of the canyon, the Grand Canyon Railway has
enchanted millions of people from around the
world since 1901—and now it’s time for you
to experience the wonderful romance of a
voyage by train. Take an unforgettable ride on
a beautifully restored train car and hear
Arizona’s Trains including the
Grand Canyon, Sedona and Verde
Canyon
shops, museums and art. Later we climb aboard
the Verde Canyon Railroad for a spectacular
journey over old-fashioned trestles, past ancient
Indian ruins and through a 700-foot tunnel.
Enjoy the views from the comfort of your First
Class seat or from one of the open-air viewing
cars. After lunch, we will wind our way to the
Verde Canyon Railway for first-class passage
on the train.. The casual grace of train travel
never goes out of style. From the moment you
step aboard the fully-restored vintage train, you
are whisked back to a time of luxurious and
leisurely train travel. This four-hour excursion
takes you on a 20-mile journey through 100
years of history. FP7 locomotives, two of only
10 remaining in North America, are the muscle
that pulls the renovated consist of cars.
Soothing music is an integral part of the trip as
you make your way through Arizona’s longest-
running nature show … railroad style.
Sandwiched between two protected sanctuaries,
the Coconino National Forest and the
Prescott National Forest, the Railroad runs a
rare ribbon where dramatic high desert meets a
precious riparian area. Each car has panoramic
windows and living room-style seating with
love seats and bistro-style chairs and tables.
Day 3 -Tour Grand Canyon-Lowell Observatory- Sedona Sunrise in the Grand Canyon is fabulous. We
will provide a wake-up call if you want to
venture out in the early morning. After
breakfast, a naturalist will take us on a tour to
unveil the history and geology of this special
place. In the afternoon, our exploration
continues as we head to Flagstaff, Arizona
for a daytime “Deep Space” Tour at Lowell
Observatory. After a phenomenal day,
another highlight awaits as we head to
picturesque Sedona Arizona our “home away
from home” for three incredible nights.

Day 4-Narrated tour of Sedona-Leisure time in Sedona!
Almost the entire world
knows that Sedona,
strategically situated at
the mouth of
spectacular Oak Creek
Canyon, is a unique
place. Characterized by
massive red-rock
formations, as well as
the contrasting riparian
areas of Oak Creek
Canyon, the area
surrounding this beloved community is
considered at least as beautiful as many
national parks. After breakfast at our lovely
hotel, we will board a motorcoach to see the
sights. The tour is fully narrated with the
history, geology, climate, flora and fauna of
the area, as well as good tips on hiking and
biking trails, and the Tlaquepaque Arts and
Crafts as well as the best places for shopping
and dining. A number of great photo ops are
included, as well as a stop at the famous
Chapel of the Holy Cross. Enjoy an afternoon
of leisure to shop, lie in the sun, swim in the
pool, indulge in a spa treatment or crack open
a good book.

Day 5-Jerome Ghost Town -Verde Canyon Railroad- Sedona This morning, we stop in Jerome, an old
mining town and melting pot for those who
