GENERAL INFORMATION

~~ PLEASE NOTE! ~~

LUNCH FOR YOUTH AGES 11 TO 17 WILL NOT BE PROVIDED THIS YEAR (snacks will be provided). Until camp begins, we will continue to seek funding to support the cost of lunches for youth.

If we receive any such support, lunch may be provided for youth some and possibly all days during camp.

You will receive an email notification IF lunch will be provided. Otherwise, please pack a lunch for your child.

Elders are welcome anytime during camp—morning, afternoon, or evening.

CHILDREN 5 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. There are over 60 chil-

dren under the age of 10 at camp. Your presence helps things go more smoothly during the busy mornings.

Remember to bring unfinished projects.

BE RESPECTFUL TO ELDERS, OTHERS AND TO UNANGAM ULAA (Home of the Aleuts, APIA

building)!

Please attend class each day; this eliminates disruption to instructors and other participants.

Please sign IN and OUT each day.

Please pick up your child/children on-time.

Adults (not Elders) must obtain prior approval with instructor (s) to participate in activities during the day-

time.

Closing camp ceremony will be held June 28 in conjunction with The Aleut Foundation’s annual Aleut

picnic at The Aleut Plaza on 4000 Old Seward Hwy from 12pm to 3pm. Bring a dish to share! Since park-

ing will be limited, a bus will transport youth, instructors and Elders which will leave APIA at 11:45 and

return at 3:15.

Please inform us if your child has food allergies, special needs or anything else we should be aware of.
