    WHEREAS, the FoundingFathersof our nation understood hat the rights to own property sthe cornerstone f liberty and freedomand s essential o the conceptof life, liberty and thepursuit of happiness:WHEREAS, the private ownershipof property s an essentialelementof free, ndependent ndsovereign ociety;WHEREAS, the private ownershipof property s essential o free marketsand commerce;WHEREAS, the private ownershipof property guaranteesndividual liberty and reedom;WHEREAS, the private ownershipof property ncludes,but is not limited to, land, real,tangible, ntangible, personaland corporatepossessions nd ntellectual properties;WHEREAS, the right to private ownershipof property s being destroyed, ften withoutforewarning or compensation, y statutes, egulations,executiveordersand udicial fiat, et al.;nowTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that {WSERT STATE) is opposed o anygovernmentalattempt at whatever evel and by whatevermeans o confiscate, educe he valueof, or restrict the usesof private propertyunless o abatea public nuisanceaffecting the publichealth and safety;andBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that (INSERT STATE} supports he Constitution of theUnited Statesand safeguards ontained herein,asvital to the sovereigntyof theseUnited Statesand to individual liberty and reedom; andBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolutionbe transmitted o the Presidentof the United States, he Speakerof the House, he PresidentPro Temporeof the Senateand oevery memberof this state=sCongressionalDelegation.
