CEO, Al-Quds Foundation Malaysia Undoubtedly, the city of Al-Quds holds a central position amongst Muslims and Christians; it is the heart of the Holy Land and it stems its sanctity from Masjid al-Aqsa -the third holiest site in Islam- the milestone of the Isra’ and Mi'raj jour-ney, as it's highly sacred amongst Christians due to several holy shrines such as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

However, the city has been witnessing over the last years a fierce offensive of Judaization, especially after the Zionist oc-cupation of east Jerusalem in 1967; a relentless effort to blur its cultural identity and eliminate the Palestinian presence; Is-lamic and Christian, not to mention, the occupation’s aspira-tion and calls to build the “temple” synagogue upon the rub-bles of Masjid Al-Aqsa, which constitutes a flagrant violation of the international law.

Therefore, and in order to preserve the rights of Muslims as well as other peoples in al-Quds and al-Aqsa, and to maintain the Malaysians’ presence in al-Quds, Al-Quds Foundation Malaysia (QFM) was launched by popular initiative and official support as an NGO that was officially registered in 2012, and ever since has been working tirelessly to unite the hearts and hands of the Malaysian people to establish a new era of joint actions towards the issue of al-Quds and Palestine.

DuringDuring the march of QFM, it sought to achieve its goals and objectives of promoting the cause of al-Quds amongst the Malaysian people and to mo-bilize efforts and capacities to support and consolidate with the steadfast-ness of the people of al-Quds through a variety of programs and means. QFM aspires to be in the lead of advocating for and attracting attention to-wards the issue of al-Quds; through developing and expanding existing programs and creating new projects to include all different segments ofsociety, and to be the locomotive of the works for al-Quds in the region.

MISSION

To promote the cause of Al-Quds amongst the Malaysian people and to mobilize the efforts and capacities to support the steadfastness of the people of Al-Quds, through mutual work and collaboration.

OBJECTIVES

Accurately introduce and inform the issue of Al-Quds and Masjid Al-Aqsa.

Mobilize individual and institutional capacities toward the issue of Al-Quds.

Financially and informatively support the steadfastness of the people o of Al-Quds.

Reveal the brutal practices of the Israeli occupation against Al-Quds and its Islamic and Christian sanctities.

Leading Programs and Activites

QFM regularly holds general and specialized seminars, conferences and lectures, as well as workshops, training courses and intellectual discussions. QFM is always keen to host different groups of relevant scholars and specialists in Al-Quds studiestudies. The foundation awards several certificates including:

QFM launches and adopts domestic and inter-national initiatives and campaigns, and is working to gather the efforts of the Malaysian institutions and groups towards Al-Quds andand Masjid Al-Aqsa. In ad-dition, QFM regularly holds meetings with offi-cials and government bodies to provide them with the latest updates in regards of Al-Qud

QFM is one of the leading media sources on Palestine in Malaysia. QFM provides daily news and articles on Palestine, and accurately reports the Israeli violations andattacks against Al-Quds and Masjid al-Aqsa through its website, social media, dailybriefings and periodic reports.

* Media Production

QFM produces and publishes informative and educational videos as well as infographics.It also produces Malaysian translations for a number of distinctive videos related to the realityof Al-Quds and the suffering of its people and their steadfastness, as part of cooperationamong QFM and other institutions such as Al-Quds International Institution and Qpress.

* Fund Raising

In light of the escalated attacks against Masjid al-Aqsa and the murabitin in Al-Quds, and the increased need to sup-port their steadfastness, QFM organizes frequently fundraising campaigns as it also receives unconditional donations from institutions and individuals. The col-lected donations are then delivered safely to al-Quds through QFM partner institu-tions in Beirut and Al-Quds. QFM has a set of projects that cover the needs of the city and the people in need.

Our projects are represented in four cate-gories: protection of the holy sites, educa-tion, housing, and social empowerment.

* Performances and Exhibitions

As it seeks to achieve its goal of public awareness, QFM performs shows (FLASH MOB)that illustrates the Israeli attacks against Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa. It also provides educationalexhibits at universities and grand Masjids. During these exhibits, QFM offers a variety ofsouvenirs which connects people with Al-Quds.

QFM regularly prints and distributes booklets, brochures, facts sheets, posters, as well as the annual calendar
