Our summer program is for new and returning stu-

dents. If your son/daughter is a new student to Aim

High, you are required to schedule a visit with our

staff prior to enrollment.

Middle Schoolers - Students in grades 6-8 as of Fall 2017

High Schoolers - Students in grades 9-12 as of Fall 2017

Customize your summer camp experience by choosing from our half-day and full-day options.

Summer Semester

Summer Semester Mornings are designed for academic remediation, credit completion, ACT prep skills, & life skills with our certified teachers.

Summer Semester Afternoons provide a chance for enjoyable summer activities that will build social skills and enhance physical fitness.

Your student can opt for a full or half day of Summer Semester.

AHS Technology Camp

Middle School & High School Technology Camp provides hands-on technology instruction for a variety of fun activities that

build 21st Century STEM skills and provide practical skills that apply to many work environments. Your student will gain skills in:

Problem solving - Creativity - Team work - Adapting to challenges

Middle School Tech Camp is in the morning. Your student can sign up for Summer Semester Afternoon for a full day of camp.

High School Tech Camp is in the afternoon. High Schoolers can sign up for Summer Semester Morning to have a full day.

Middle School Technology Camp -- Morning

Week 1 and Week 2 - GameMaker Studio 2

Learn how to program to create games like Flappy Bird

or animate pictures. If you do Week 1 followed by Week

2, we will customize Week 2 to advance your student

even further.

Week 3 and Week 4 - Robotics

Build a robot and learn how to program it with EV3.

Then engage in fun competition with your fellow

campers. If you do both weeks, we will advance your

student in Week 4.

High School Technology Camp -- Afternoon

Week 1 - Build a Computer/Programming

Learn how to build a PC. Discover the benefits of

building your own computer compared to buying one off

the shelf. Also learn programming using GameMaker

Studio 2.

Week 2 - Robotics

Build a robot and learn how to program it with EV3. En-

gage in fun competition with fellow campers.

Week 3 - Intro To Graphic Design & Video Editing

Work with the latest graphic design software to create a

multi-media project to share with family, friends,

YouTube, webpage, etc. Project focuses on learning

and utilizing key features in the Adobe CC Suite and

other applications to help create and share content.

Week 4 - Arduino

Learn how to build a circuit using an Arduino Kit.

Program a microprocessor with the Arduino program

using scripts. Build and code a traffic light and a GPS.
