In recent years AIM Aviation has specialised in engineering elegant, certifiable and maintainable designs that meet the aspirations and concepts of the designer (whether external, airline or AIM internal design) without compromise. These furnishing installations have been certified as part of aircraft Type Certificates by Airbus and by retrofit as AIM Aviation’s EASA STCs.

AIM Aviation’s project management team has a reputation for meeting the customers’ requirements for on-time and on-budget delivery of complex programmes. AIM Aviation’s Design and Production system is fully compliant with the EC Regulation 1702/2003 (Part 21) Sub Parts G (POA) and J (DOA). AIM Aviation’s Maintenance organisation is fully compliant with EC Regulation 2042/2003 (Part 145).

Design and Certification Experience

Today AIM Aviation is an accepted supplier of SFE for Airbus Long-Range aircraft and of BFEfor all Airbus aircraft. AIM Aviation has held UK CAA A1 Approved Design and Manufacturing Organisation approvals from 1975 until this approval system ceased in 2003. AIM Aviation now holds multiple EASA STC’s and Minor Changes for retrofit installations in transport category aircraft.

Introduction

This guide identifies the various stowage options for Airbus A330-200/300 aircraft which have been manufactured and supplied by AIM Aviation.

The stowage options listed have been certified by Airbus.

This guide can be read in conjunction with the AIM Aviation Cabin Configuration Guide to identify the full range of options available.

The stowage options available are full height and below OHSC stowages which can be installed in various aircraft locations.

The stowages listed are not connected to any aircraft system (water, oxygen etc).

Attachment of stowages to the aircraft structure is achieved using a combination of seat track, hard points & upper tie-rods. For stowages below OHSC no upper attachments will be provided unless the stowage width is less than 10 in. (254.0mm) which will be provided to prevent in-flight vibration.

Aim Aviation can offer a vast range of Standard Doghouses to accommodate the Customers’ requirements.The current range of Lateral or Centre line Doghouses can be supplied with a size of 10”, 8” and 6” and either a retractable drawer or hinged door option depending on the requirements. Doghouses are an ideal addition to any interior because they are behind the seats and provide additional stowage whilst freeing up the Overhead compartments and stowages for passenger baggage etc.
