St. Mary Catholic Parish – November 20, 2011
Dear Parishioners, A blessed Thanksgiving to all of you. May you find a reason to be appreciative for what you have, even if it is not all you want. We sometime fail to consider all with which we are blessed. Life is not always easy; it is certainly more difficult than even fifteen years ago, but it is better than 300 hundred years ago. Keep it in perspective. Congratulations and prayers to those who officially enter the RCIA process this weekend. May your journey of faith be truly holy and enlightened. Prayers & Peace, Fr. Bill Wegher

RCIA – Rite of Welcoming Today, as we celebrated the Rite of Welcoming, our
parish had the opportunity to affirm and welcome seven
eager Candidates. Already baptized, these Candidates will
become fully initiated into the Catholic Church with the
reception of the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist
at the Easter Vigil.
As they move forward in their journey toward a deeper
relationship with God, an increasing awareness of Jesus’
presence, and the need for prayer and His Word in their
lives, along with a growing sense of community, they set
for us an example of faith and hope.
Having completed the Inquiry Period they enter into the
Catechumenate period of the RCIA. (Rite of Christian
Initiation of Adults).
As a parish, we welcome our new Candidates and offer
them our continuing prayers, strength and support.
