Learning Targets
Today we will learn about different ways to integrate social media into the classroom
So that we can use social media while still addressing standards
We will know we’ve got it when we create a lesson integrating social media while addressing CCSS.
Why?A recent study done by Experian most Americans spend 5 1/2 hours on social networks especially Facebook and Twitter.
Top social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube
Over the last couple of years, there has been a big push to use social media in classrooms.
Social media connects students to the world.
Even our youngest students are connected through social media (even though they aren’t supposed to be per social network rules).
