The clues on the right tell you the meanings, but can you find the matching symbols on the robe? SYMBOLS! CLUES... 1 This Indonesian image of the andung (a skull tree found in a royal village) symbolizes victory over enemies. 2 This mythical animal symbolizes purity. 3 In North America, many associate this with an autumn holiday, but in England during the 15th and 16th centuries, it symbolized earth. 4 This is a primary colour and there’s a type of music named after it. It is associated with divinity, Heaven, and wisdom. 5 In China, this is the ultimate symbol of power. Only the emperor could wear one with 5 claws. 6 This symbolizes the union of Heaven and Earth and is often associated with leprechauns. 7 This was the royal colour for China’s emperors. It can symbolize faith and goodness, or evil and cowardice. 8 This is now a universal symbol for peace. 9 Ancient Greeks made this plant into a wreath as a prize for athletes. For Romans, it symblolized victory, and for Christians, the resurrection of Christ. 10 This colour is associated with royality, nobility, and power.
