Queen’s Buildings ACCOMODATION PROJECT: UPDATE After months of knocking down walls, plastering walls, installing cables and fitting furniture, we are almost ready to welcome the DWP to Queen’s Buildings on Monday morning. (18th May 2015) On the ground floor there will be around 38 DWP staff joining us, whilst the first floor will temporarily house 10 members of the fraud team. However, the DWP will have no appointments on their first day, as they look to get settled in. In order to accommodate the DWP a number of changes have been made and it would be really useful if staff could familiarise themselves with the following information. Opening Times Queen’s Buildings will open to the public at 9:00am from Monday 18th May, rather than 8:40am. This change will also apply to the One Stop Shop in Retford and A1 Housing’s Offices at Carlton Forrest. However, there will be no change to our telephone operating hours and the Council will still be taking calls from 8:40am. Security Guards We will have two security guards on site from Monday, supplied by British Military Security. Ash Hopewell and Dylan Haughey will soon be familiar faces at Queen’s Buildings and will be based on the Ground Floor. Dan Vickers will provide relief security when necessary. Welcoming the DWP on Monday 18th May Dylan Haughey, Dan Vickers and Ash Hopewell - our new Security Guards
