Five steps to the perfect fitWe have extensive experience implementing Accenture CAS solutions for customer goods companies around the world. And, with every successful project, our knowledge and capabilities grow to help ensure our clients stay one step ahead.

1. Getting startedWe know that no two consumer goods organizations are the same. So we always begin by getting under the skin of your business – understanding your challenges and opportunities, both internal and external.

You will be appointed a dedicated Accenture CAS project manager who will take responsibility for your project delivery. They will work very closely with you to resemble the right team, manage your timelines, budget and mitigate risk. Depending on the scale of your deployment, they will perform all activities themselves or manage them alongside a Project Management Office (PMO) team.

2. Building your solutionWe will work closely with your team to translate your existing business processes into functional requirements. These span every area of your day-to-day activity and are used as the basis for your Accenture CAS software configuration and customization.

During the build phase, our technology consultants configure, customize and test the solution infrastructure and architecture. We draw on experts from various fields – such as, Retail Execution and Trade Promotion Management – to incorporate industry leading practices into software and process configuration.

Whatever shape your solution takes, our cross-functional technology team will make sure it is seamlessly integrated with your back-office SAP or Oracle enterprise architecture. Our expertise spans infrastructure sizing and installation, integration and interfaces, upgrades and migrations and all reporting and analytics.

3. Testing and fine tuningWe leave nothing to chance. Before your solution is rolled-out we prepare and conduct a series of in-depth software tests:

Stage 1: application testing to ensure the entire end-to-end sales processes are robust and reliable.

Stage 2: integration testing to check that your new platform works seamlessly with any legacy systems.

Stage 3: User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to make sure your system is ready for deployment across all your groups.

Depending on the level of our engagement, we may also conduct project team training and support your change management activities within your sales organizations.
