semester) and teach courses in Agricultural Statistics, Environmental Statistics, Numerical Methods in Environmental Science, Research Methods in Environmental Science, Soils and the Environment, and Fundamentals of Air Quality. Previous Employment Location(s) and Date: 2010-2012 Supervisory Agricultural Engineer, Research Leader, U.S. Meat Animal Research Center, Environmental Management Research Unit, USDA-ARS, Clay Center, NE I served as administrative leader for the Environmental Management Research Unit at the U.S. Meat Animal Research Center. I supervised five Ph.D. scientists/engineers and five research technicians, and was responsible for all research planning and budgetary oversight ($2.1 million annually). I conducted research on animal health and well-being, air and water quality, manure management and the measurement and abatement of odor, VOC, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and greenhouse gas emissions from animal feeding operations. 1997-2010 Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor of Environmental Science and Engineering, West Texas A&M University, Canyon, TX I was a member of the Feedlot Research Group at West Texas A&M University, which consisted of Ph.D. specialists in animal health, meat science, animal nutrition, and environmental science. My expertise focused on surface, groundwater, and air quality (odor and VOC) aspects at animal feeding operations and other agricultural sources. I served as Director of the Odor and GC/MS Laboratories from 1999-2010. I taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in Agricultural Statistics, Environmental Statistics, and Agricultural Waste Management. I advised graduate students within the Department of Agricultural Sciences and the Department of Life, Earth, and Environmental Sciences, and taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in Agricultural Statistics, Environmental Statistics, and Agricultural Waste Management. 1991-1993 and 1995-1996

Civil/Environmental/Geotechnical Engineer, Power Engineers, Inc., Hailey and Boise, Idaho

Directed a group of scientists and engineers responsible for environmental and geotechnical engineering consulting projects, where I was responsible for project engineering, project management, and marketing activities. Significant projects included design and permitting of solid waste landfills, geothermal waste water pond design, wastewater treatment plant and potable water distribution system design, geotechnical investigations and engineering design for large water pipelines, buildings, cement silos, transmission lines, substations, and various industrial projects across the U.S.

I was responsible for environmental compliance for hazardous waste and groundwater issues at the company's pulp and paper mills, sawmills, wood waste landfills, sludge lagoons, tree nurseries, and land application sites across the United States. I supervised sampling technicians, and performed quarterly sampling and reporting of more than 50 monitoring wells in Oregon, Washington, South Carolina, and North Carolina. I performed characterization and remediation activities at several hazardous waste sites contaminated with mercury, PCB's, petroleum products, pentachlorophenol, and degreasing solvents.

1987-1989

Hydrologist/Environmental Engineer, Morrison-Knudsen Engineers, Boise, Idaho and Bellevue, Washington

Assisted senior engineers with a variety of environmental, water resources, geotechnical, and mining projects.
