About iDevelop At a time when the continuous improvement of competences and
qualifications has become a reality, a teacher who possesses substantial and
empirical knowledge is an integral part of the school environment.
iDevelop is an international training provider specialized in the development of
professionals working in the educational sector by promoting, supporting and
providing training activities in accordance with the Erasmus+ principles.
It constitutes the teachers training department of euroMind Group, an
international training and internship consultancy aimed at VET sector.
Many years of experience working closely with schools all over Europe has
allowed us to reach a deep understanding of the reality of the teaching sector.
Hence, iDevelop is able to observe the needs, new tendencies and the continuous changes the educational
system is undergoing.
Thanks to this background, iDevelop have launched a wide range of courses and training events which provide
all the necessary tools to improve the skills of teachers and school staff.
The training courses offered by iDevelop were designed in cooperation with experts with an extensive
experience in the field of education. Topics covered in our training courses are all
related to educational issues, such as: motivation, new teaching methods,
emotional balance and the use of new communication and information
technologies.
Facing ICT in classroom, feeling that students feel more comfortable with technology than we are, is quite challenging for teachers. Devices such as tablets, laptops or Smartphones, with multiple operating systems and thousands of apps seem to be a muddy environment to run into without help. In this course, teachers will not only learn useful tools to work with but the workflow itself, understanding the processes that occur in the background. It is also an opportunity to experience within a student's driven learning environment, spotting possible drawbacks when designing learning content. The scope of this course will cover all the stages in a project based learning, from research to assessment, in order to facilitate teacher's job.

Day 1 (5 hours)
Preparing your tools
Introduction to the course: Create Google account. Preliminary evaluation: Initial Assessment. Workshop 1: Preparing the class. Research and collect information for the project by using
Google Tools (Drive, Keep) and Evernote. Group discussion: How do we plan a PBL lesson? Workshop 2: Create a blog in Blogger.
Day 2 (5 hours)
Preparing your lesson
Collaborative work tools, such as Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides. Group discussion: What do our students expect from their learning? Workshop 3: Tools for modifying our resources: Picasa (Photo Editor), PicCollage and
PhotoGrid (collage), Skitch (integrated tool with Evernote).
Day 3 (5 hours)
Create
Audio: Audacity (audio editor). Video: Show Me, VideoPad and iMovie (video editor). Reseaching for lessons: Youtube interactive videos, Khan Academy and TedEd. Workshop 4: Create a video for a Flipped Classroom lesson using Explain Everything
(interactive screencasting whiteboard).
Day 4 (5 hours) Create 2
Wiki: Collaborative tool for projects (wikispaces). Sites: Create a Google Sites for students. Workshop 5: Create an eBook using Book Creator. Group discussion: How to make parents involved in our classroom: ClassDojo (class
management) and EdModo (Private Social Network).
Day 5 (5 hours) Assess & Feedback
Group Discussion: How to create effective and engaging assessment? Showbie: Cloud storage solution for homework and sharing files. Interactive assessment tools such as Kahoot (gamification assess). Workshop 6: Create an assessment using Socrative (real-time formative assessments).

By completing this course, you will be able to acquire new competences to improve skills of staff contributing considerably to organisation’s needs in terms of: ICT skills
1. Understand ICT workflow in cloud computing. 2. Manage multitasking. 3. Deal with main issues using tech in class. 4. Record, edit and deliver audio and video. 5. Automate assessments and results.

Teaching tools 1. Different ways to create audiovisual activities. 2. Handle audiovisual editors. 3. Collaborative working. 4. Individualise learning experience. 5. Get instant feedback from students.

1. Making more engaging and motivating activities for students.
2. Pulsing the real state of the knowledge students have acquired.
3. Being more effective teachers, spending more time on students
rather than bureaucracy.
4. Offering students more support on ICT.
The methodology used is “learning by doing”, a hands-on approach, enabling the students to follow
their own pace. The teacher, after explaining the project, became a tutor, answering questions and
helping students on their learning experience. There will be a test to assess the learning outcomes.

Course Gallery
Carmen Lucas is a Primary bilingual teacher, expert in ICT and new
methodologies. She is member of the R&D department for new
technologies at her school and has taught several workshops about
PBL, blogs and wikis, CLIL learning and other current educational
issues.
As a teacher, she has taught from infants to adults and currently with
pre-teens, offering teachers an approachable, practical and
meaningful learning to apply in the classroom.
