Forest has been in business for more than 25 years, it all started with a simple and clever idea: the Forest KS Klick System.
The system rapidly conquered the Dutch market and people have loved it for its simplicity and quality.
It then quickly found its way around Europe, soon followed by an ever increasing product line, all developed with the
same concepts in mind. Dutch Design characterizes design in the Netherlands, particularly product design.
More specifically, it refers to the design aesthetic common to designers in the Netherlands.
Dutch Design can be characterized as minimalistic, experimental, innovative, quirky, and humorous.
Dutch design is simple and powerful, so is the Forest Shuttle. In a sleek and functional shell
it houses the smallest motorized drapery track system in the world.

lives up to its expectations.
Being able to open and close your drapes
remotely, from the comfort of your chair,
from your bed, automatically at programmed
opening and closing times or even linked
to variable sunrise and sunset times;
how comfortable would you like to be?

Caring about energy and
the environmentBeing situated below sea level makes the Dutch ever more conscious of
changes in the environment. This has resulted in an urge to come up
with innovative solutions to protect the world around us.
Clever solutions like draperies closing automatically when you leave the
room, thereby saving energy by temperature control.
It all starts with small, but noticeable, steps.

The opportunities of America
Forest Motorization arrived in America in 2005
and found its first home at the Venetian in Las
Vegas. The Forest Shuttle landed in North America
at the end of 2010 at the Trump Tower in Toronto.
The silent motor that is also strong enough to pull
the heavy draperies used in hotel design, makes
the Forest Shuttle an ideal choice for the
American hospitality market.
Additionally, the Forest Shuttle has found a niche
in American ADA hotel rooms, providing extra
convenience for disabled guests.
Homeowners are attracted to the Forest Shuttle’s
affordable price and ability to integrate into
various home automation systems.
